2007 Results

Jordin Sparks was 2007's winner. with Blake Lewis taking 2nd and Melinda taking 3rd.

Blake has a history of a cappella, beatboxing and plays several instruments as well. At 13 Jordin did an album and is an actress as well.

Melinda Doolittle got the #3 spot for Season Six. The critics expected her to go further since any regard her as the best singer on the show. Melinda and Jordin were never in the bottom three this season.

LaKisha Jones took 4th place on American Idol and is pursuing a record contract. She's sure to delight her fans on the tour.

Phil Stacey and Chris Richardson were eliminated together from the top 6. Chris has been compared to Justin Timberlake but Chris wants his fans to decide for themselves by listening to his forthcoming album. Phil had been in the bottom 3 five times

Sanjaya Malakar will be there with his crazy hair styles. He's probably the most talked about American Idol this year. He even got a chance to visit the White House and meet President George W Bush. Time Magazine ranked him the #3 most influential person of the year.

Haley Scarnato made it into the Top 12 but was eliminated thereafter. See her once again on the American Idol Live Tour.

Gina Glocksen didn't make it into Season 5 but she did place #9 this year. She was never in the bottom 3 or 2 until she was eliminated.

Chris Sligh apparently foresaw his elimination since he made a bet with Phil Stacey. He had even considered throwing in the towel a couple of weeks prior but wanted to make the tour. Chris never hit the Bottom 3 or 2 except when he was eliminated.
